Torched Premiere – NUKES ‘Death Sky’ (The Blue Hour Mix) Featuring Industrial Legends Chris Connelly, John Bechdel and En Esch

NUKES premieres ‘Death Sky’ (The Blue Hour Mix) featuring a host of legendary industrial luminaries including; Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks BSL, Cocksure, Ministry Pigface), John Bechdel (Ministry), En Esch (PIG, Pigface, ex-KMFDM), Martin Bowes (ATTRITION), Mikel Mikel Andrew Angel Andrew (Electrovot Official), Tony Young (Autoclav1.1), Brian Hodges (The Blue Hour), Roberto Mendoza (Panoptica), Joey Pérez (Flesh Vomit), H.F. Mino (Hetaira Decrépita), Erie Loch ( Erie Loch – Wiccid Primitive Race, Blownload), and ASHES – (a.k.a. Diego Ibarra DevilDriver).

Chris Connelly’s vocal tracks paint a picture of isolation and broken dreams cast against a backdrop of abandoned cityscapes. All is not bleak, however. Seattle-based saxophonist Amy Denio adds an element of jazzy nonchalance, like singing in an acid rain. And Marselle Hodges’ backing vocals add the exaltation and rise of a church choir. The result is pure cinema-noir, contrasting images and messages combine into a song that defies genre classification. Turn up the volume, close your eyes, join us. Curated by No Devotion Records founder and band member Mario Alberto Cabada,
