Torched Live Gallery – Peter Murphy Celebrating 40 Years Of Bauhaus Ft. David J In Portland And Seattle

Peter Murphy’s North American tour celebrating 40 years of Bauhaus, featuring David J recently stopped off in the Pacific Northwest where great music and good times were had by all! This historic tour, which has brought Peter Murphy and David J back together along with the talents of Mark Gemini Thwaite (MGT) and Marc Slutsky, has made it’s way across the globe and is now in full swing in North America. Their current setlist consists of tracks from ‘In The Flat Field’ in its entirety plus a handful of fan favorites.

Portland’s shows’ setlist was cut a little short and they started off with some slight technical difficulties but quickly straightened things out and the show ended up being phenomenal in the end. Seattle’s show was one for the history books as they were completely off the charts while Peter had fun with the fans up front.. you know who you are! The lighting was brilliant, showcasing its subjects perfectly, which made for a dynamic and dramatic setting. Also, my hat goes off to Mark Gemini Thwaite and Marc Slutsky for helping to keep the spirit of the music alive. Paving the way for both shows and getting the audience going was the opening act Desert Mountain Tribe which I thought complimented what was to come soon thereafter.. You will not be disappointed.. Hands down Portland and Seattle were two of the greatest shows of my life!
