Torched Magazine is honored to premier ‘Gone’, the newest song and video from John Fryer’s Black Needle Noise featuring vocals and lyrics by Yvette. This new track is the latest in a series of singles that have been released consistently via Bandcamp and is accompanied by the video directed and produced by Dennis Overeem.
“GONE is about love not always being enough. The flames are symbolic for all the times you try and fail. And the storm all the thoughts in your head telling you it will never be. Sometimes you have to chose your own happiness even if that means saying goodbye,” says Yvette.

“I have been friends with Yvette for some time and was just waiting for the right song to come out of me that would work for her and GONE was the one. The song fits her perfectly and she sounds gorgeous on it and the video she made with Dennis Overeem looks amazing,” says John.

John Fryer is a multi-platinum selling record producer and musician. Starting in 1980 at London’s Blackwing Studios, he worked for some of the most prestigious indie labels at the time like 4AD, Mute, and Rough Trade. He has produced and worked with many influential artists for which the list is both extensive and impressive including; Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, Wire, NIN and Love And Rockets.
