The Blue Hour Presents Music For Gothlings ‘A Gothling’s Gathering Of Gabbling Ghouls’

Torched Magazine has a real trick or treat in store for you tonight as All Hallows Eve is upon us.. The sky is darkening and children in costumes of every kind are anticipating their yearly quest for goodies. One of my favorite Seattle band’s, The Blue Hour, has released ‘A Gothling’s Gathering of Gabbling Ghouls’ by their dark moniker The Gabbling Ghouls. This new release makes the perfect audio companion to go along with whatever haunts your evenings celebrations. Happy Halloween from all of us at Torched Magazine!

The Blue Hour presents music for gothlings!

The birth of a new child is without doubt one of the greatest moments in life. But that moment of joy is quickly followed by the existential crisis that is known as children’s music. What is a person of refined taste (read: synth wave, goth, ethereal, post-punk) to do? To answer that crisis, Marselle Hodges and I began recording songs for little gothlings everywhere (and their parents/grandparents) as the Gabbling Ghouls. Here is our first offering of darkly delectable tunes, aimed at the most magical season of the year! Expect quirky synths and a bit of Danny Eifman madness. Beastly wishes to all!!!
